It is with great pleasure that I endorse my friend Frank Pallone for the United States Senate. As a newly registered voter in New Jersey, I could not be more excited to cast my first vote for Frank Pallone. In this race, there is no bigger advocate for the working families that make New Jersey great. We need proven leadership in the Senate and Frank Pallone is our guy.
I know the legacies of my late father Senator Ted Kennedy and Senator Frank Lautenberg fighting for the working class, making sure every citizen has access to affordable health care and protecting our environment will be carried on by Frank Pallone. It is why I have chosen to support such a great public advocate – Frank Pallone.
I got to know Frank while I was a member of Congress. We worked on many issues together. What stood apart though was the leadership he provided to get my bill passed on mental health parity, an issue near and dear to my heart and to millions of Americans that suffer from mental illness. At a time when mental health issues were far from Congress’s mind, Frank Pallone worked tirelessly to get the votes needed to pass this historic legislation.
This is the kind of leadership Frank will bring to the United States Senate. He is the only one with a proven record to get the hard work done. Stand with me in supporting our friend Frank Pallone.
