Nominations Sought For “Pride In Cranford” Awards

CRANFORD — The Pride In Cranford Awards recognize the people and volunteer community organizations that are committed to making the township a better community in which to live. The Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for these awards until Sept. 6.

On Oct. 16, the chamber will acknowledge various people or organizations by presenting them awards from the Cranford Chamber, Township of Cranford, Union County Board of Freeholders, and the State of New Jersey.

Nomination forms will be available at the Library, Community Center, Chamber Office, Cranford Municipal Building, or from any of the chamber members. They must be returned to the Chamber Office at 8 Springfield Avenue.

The awards event will be held on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at Galloping Hill Caterers, 325 Chestnut Street, Union. The cost of the dinner is $37 per person, which includes a buffet and cash bar. Call the chamber office at 908-272-6114 to make your reservation.
