Union Twp. Man Arrested 13 Times In ’13

UNION – A 20-year-old township man was arrested for the 13th time in Union Township on Thursday after he allegedly shoplifted from a drug store and led police on a foot chase, according to an NJ.com report.

Naquan Fairley allegedly borrowed a phone at a convenience store to call a taxi and then his mother while he was trying to escape police, but officers caught up with him before he could get a ride, according to the report.

An officer suffered a dislocated kneecap during the arrest, according to the report. Fairly was charged with burglary, assaulting officers, resisting arrest and shoplifting. He was out on bail for the other alleged crimes.
