Grace Potter & The Nocturnals To Play At State Theatre

NEW BRUNSWICK—State Theatre and AEG Live will present Grace Potter and the Nocturnals on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. Tickets range from $30-45.

Known for their energetic and enthralling live performances, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals will perform songs from their latest, The Lion The Beast The Beat as well as signature hits such as “Paris (Ooh La La),” “Nothing But the Water,” and “Apologies.”

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals first came onto the music scene with their self-made 2005 debut album, Nothing But the Water. Since then, they have released three more albums, including their latest album, The Lion The Beast The Beat. Led by Potter, whose dynamic vocal ability has drawn comparisons to Janis Joplin, the band’s original blend of roots, funky blues, soul, and rock conjures up a nostalgic sound from the 60s and early 70s.
