CRANFORD – During the month of August, the Office of Continuing Education at Union County College is offering a courses on how to sell things on eBay and how to use 10 popular social media tools, such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
eBay: How to Sell On-Line will teach participants how to sell items on-line using the website eBay. Students will learn how to set up their account, take and post digital images, set starting bids, set reserve amounts, handle shipping and more. The course will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost of the course is $49.
Social Media 101 will teach participants how to use popular social media venues. Students will learn how to use websites like: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Diigo, Google +, Google Hangouts, Ustream, Picasa, and ThingLink. The course will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. from Aug. 5 to Aug. 7. The cost of the course is $75.
Both classes will be held at the college’s Cranford campus, located at 1033 Springfield Avenue.
