LINDEN — Rain is essential for sustaining life. This summer, while most of us are saying “rain, rain, go away”, the ESL students at School # 9 in Linden are busy investigating one of nature’s most intriguing phenomena. Under the guidance of ESL teacher Danie Orelien-Armstead and teacher assistant, Eglys Rodriguez, the English Language Learners explore the water cycle and were delighted in watching the “clouds” form, and produce “rain.” Simple household objects were used to create this experiment to demonstrate the concepts of condensation and evaporation and how clouds and rain form.
