Missionaries To Belgium Visit Springfield Church

SPRINGFIELD — Joel and Gail VanBriggle, missionaries to Belgium, will visit Calvary Assembly of God for the church’s monthly Missionary Sunday service at 6 p.m. on July 21. They will bless the congregation with a short musical concert.

The VanBriggles will work with Convoy of Hope to connect missionaries, local pastors and U.S. short-term mission teams with resources. Joel is regional director of Eastern Europe for Convoy of Hope Europe, a church planting and community development ministry.

Calvary Assembly of God is a local church, affiliated with the Assemblies of God headquartered in Springfield, Mo. It is pastored by Rev. John W. Bechtel, with Rev. Joshua Bechtel serving as the assistant pastor and worship leader.

The church, located at 242 Shunpike Road in Springfield, offers weekly Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday school for all ages is held at 9:30 a.m., and a midweek praise and Bible study is offered on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit CalvaryAssembly.tv or call 973-467-4600.
