Union County College Offers Emergency Planning Certificate Program Classes

CRANFORD – The Office of Continuing Education at Union County College is offering courses on Understanding Terrorism, and Terrorism and Intelligence this summer.

Understanding Terrorism help participants to understand what terrorism is, its psychology and sociology. Terrorism and Intelligence is designed to teach students how terrorism, intelligence and emergency management are interrelated. These courses are a part of Homeland Security Emergency Management and Planning, Emergency Planning Certificate Program.

The Understanding Terrorism course will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. from July 29 to July 31. The Terrorism and Intelligence course will be held on Monday and Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m. from Aug. 5 to Aug. 7. The cost of each course is $70 and they will both be held at the college’s Cranford campus.
