July 7 at 1:26 p.m. – Union County Police Officer Arlia stopped a vehicle on South Second Street in Plainfield because the occupants were not wearing seatbelts. The officer noticed the smell of raw marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A further search found a loaded Ruger 9mm handgun which contained 2 hollow point bullets along with 6 other rounds.

Driver Herbert Donerson was charged with possession of a handgun, possession of hollow point bullets, Under the influence of CDS (Marijuana), and underage possession of an alcoholic beverage. Donerson was also issued a summons for failure to wear a seatbelt, and open container of alcohol in a vehicle. He has been remanded to the Union County Jail; bail set at $50,000.

Passengers Jabril Muhammad; Blake Amos; Devonte McMillan were charged with being under the influence of CDS (Marijuana) and Underage possession of an alcoholic beverage. They were also issues a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seatbelt. All three were released without bail pending a court appearance.

On June 27 at 12:55 a.m. – Union County Police Officer Wengerter stopped a vehicle on North Broad Street in Elizabeth for failing to stop at a red light at Westminster and Prince Street. A search of the occupants found two passengers in possesion of loaded handguns, according to authorities.

Driver Laura Diaz was charged with possession of CDS, Marijuana, under 50 grams, and was issued motor vehicle summons she was released without bail pending a court appearance.

Passengers Oliesse Blakeney and Clenton Reese, Jr. were charged with hindering apprehension. The two were also issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seatbelt. They were released without bail pending a court appearance.

Passengers Todd Tate and Alfonso Garnett were charged with possession of a fire arm (handgun). The two were also issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seatbelt. Tate and Garnett have been remanded to the Union County Jail; bail set at $50,000.
