Frustrated Robber Shoots Man Who Said He Had No Wallet

ELIZABETH – A would-be robber shot his victim on Sunday night when the 49-year-old Elizabeth man told him that he had no wallet, according to an NJ.com report.

The victim, who had been walking on the 400 block of Second Avenue, was shot in the left shoulder. He was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was in stable condition, according to the report.
