ELIZABETH-I received the following email: “Just found your website while searching to see if Polly’s Elizabeth Inn was still in operation. We have so many fond memories of dining there on Sundays when our kids were little. They especially loved the little cocktails, actually it was juice that she served, and the wonderful sticky buns. Back in the 1950s and 1960s, one of our favorite places was Snuffy’s Steak House and the kids loved watching the monkey that swung back and forth over the bar.
“Years have carried us back to Illinois, California and now Indiana, but our hearts will always hold a special place for our Jersey friends and old haunts. The kids are now in the 50s, so you can see how old we are now.”
