EDISON — The 3rd Annual Hispanic Business Expo on Tuesday, July 16, from 4-8 p.m. will allow professionals to network with and learn about the rapidly expanding Hispanic market. It also allows for Hispanic professionals to network with the non-Hispanic market and learn about breaking out of the comfort zone.
Middlesex County has seen a steady increase in the Hispanic population over the past several years, according to the most recent Census data, with Latinos comprising 18 percent of the county’s population—a 45-percent increase since 2000. “This growing group has significant purchasing power and plays a key role in our region’s economy,” said Alex Hollywood, president of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Ted Rubin, a “Forbes Top 20 Social Media Influencer” will offer the keynote address on “Return on Relationship” and the importance of creating an authentic connection in business. Rubin’s keynote will take place at 4 p.m.
