SUMMIT — Union County Freeholder Candidate Marc Krauss, Lisa Allen, Summit GOP Chair and Common Council Candidate, Sandra Lizza, for Ward 2 in Summit, were joined by Mrs. Union County, Lea Moelk at the Summit 4th of July Celebration at Soldier’s Memorial Field to help Moelk’s cause as Mrs Union County to bring awareness to Child Abuse Prevention. This is part of a statewide campaign to raise awareness about supporting families and preventing child abuse. A pinwheel is a symbol of a happy, carefree, and healthy childhood, something Moelk believes every child should have. Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey, incorporated in 1979 as the state chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, works in all 21 counties of the state to eliminate child abuse and neglect in all of its forms for all of New Jersey’s children. All of the organization’s work is research-based and built around nationally-recognized models.
