Alleged Carjackers Caught In Clark ID’d

WOODBRIDGE – Authorities released the names of two men who allegedly stole a Mercedes at gunpoint while it was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Green Street and Route 27 Tuesday morning, according to a Woodbridge Patch report.

Quincel Scott, 19, of Newark and Yves Augustin 23, of Rahway were arrested in Clark, and a third suspect remains at large despite search efforts that included the use of a State Police helicopter. Both men are charged with carjacking and conspiracy. Scott was also charged with making terroristic threats, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and unlawful possession of weapon.

The charges against Scott and Augustin are merely accusations; they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
