MOUNTAINSIDE – On Sunday, July 21, Oasis Church will be taking church outside at the Watchung Reservation Loop Playground (Evergreen Grove) with an 11 a.m. service, followed by a picnic blast of food, fun, festivities and meeting new friends.

According to David Butler, lead pastor at Oasis, “This is a free and open event with the intent of blessing all the people in the surrounding area, so all are welcome whether you attend www.oasis-church-nj.com or not. So come with family & friends and enjoy this event in the heart of nature at its best! You’re guaranteed a great seat (we provide them) because we will have circular seating with our band in the middle. There’s also a great huge playground area for the kiddos in the Loop, and we will be having tents for shade as well. So come out and enjoy an awesome day in the Loop on us”

Oasis-Church-NJ.com is a two year old, nondenominational, casual NJ church, with a vision toward reaching hurting and hungry people for Jesus, to see those far from God be filled with new life in Him. Oasis currently meets in two locations: Sundays at 11 a.m.at Snuffy’s Pantagis, at 250 Park Avenue and Route 22 East in Scotch Plains, and monthly at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater at 1000 Corporate Court in South Plainfield. At the theater, Sunday services start at 10 a.m., with the next services being July 28 and Aug. 25, leading up to the launch of weekly services on Sept. 15 for this second site.
