ELIZABETH — The youth members of Community Access Unlimited (CAU), which supports people with disabilities and at-risk youth, will present “An Evening of the Arts” Friday, July 12, from 7 to 10 p.m. at 88 West Grand Street, Elizabeth.
Members of CAU’s Transitional Opportunities Program (TOP) and special guests will perform visual, literary and performing arts featuring: music; dance; fashion and design; photography and art; and spoken word, cinema and theater. TOP members are youth who are either within or who have aged out of the youth services system.
Admission is $5. Door raffle prizes and light refreshments will be provided. All proceeds will benefit CAU’s Ira Geller Walk-A-Thon, which raises funds to support the agency’s services and programs. CAU enables people with disabilities and at-risk youth to live independent and fulfilled lives within the community through programs that include housing, vocation and life skills training and advocacy, as well as others.
