CLARK — Township officials are advising motorists that Raritan Road from Madison Hill Road to Lake Avenue in Clark will be under construction beginning on or around Monday, July 8. The work is expected to take approximately 5 days, weather permitting.
The road will be fully closed to traffic while the construction is underway. A clearly marked detour route will be established and maintained by the county. For more information, visit the Union County website at www.ucnj.org.
The water main on Westfield Avenue is also being replaced and although the road will not be closed, there will be delays on Westfield Avenue between Raritan Road and the Clark Police Station.
