All persons arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

June 24 at 10:55 p.m. – Officer Brian Pereira arrested Brick resident Melissa Pietrangelo, 23, on an outstanding warrant for $1,000 from Little Ferry. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

June 25 at 10:30 a.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief and theft at a residence on the 100 block of Fulton Street. The incident is under investigation.

June 25 at 12:17 p.m. – Police took a report of a theft of a pocketbook from a patron of the Target Department Store at 45 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Lt. Pat Grady was the Investigating Officer.

June 26 at 9:49 a.m. – In  the vicinity of Lamberts Mill Road in Westfield, police arrested Lake Hopatcong resident Michael Foit, 29, on six outstanding warrants totaling $2,408 and hindering apprehension. He was subsequently turned over to the Englewood Cliffs Police Department. Det. Antonio Manata was the Arresting Officer.
