CRANFORD – The Office of Continuing Education at Union County College is offering a course on New Jersey Taxation and Introduction to Quickbooks during the month of July.
The Fundamentals of New Jersey Taxation is for those individuals who want to learn more about the New Jersey taxation, including taxpayer rights, deductions, interest, and dividends. The course will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. from July 9 to July 25. The cost of the course is $210 and it will be held at the College’s Cranford campus, located at 1033 Springfield Avenue.
The Introduction to Quickbooks 2013 will teach participants the important basic features of the program. Quickbooks is used by most small and midsize businesses as a computerized tool for the traditional approach to accounting. The course will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. from July 15 to July 31. The cost of the course is $249 and it will be held at the college’s Elizabeth campus, located at 40 West Jersey Street.
