Attendees scheduled for upcoming surgical procedures at RBMC or elsewhere will learn pre-operative mind-body techniques to reduce anxiety, better manage pain and heal faster. Techniques are based on Peggy Huddleston’s method and include a companion relaxation CD. Ideally, the workshop should be attended one or two weeks in advance of surgery, but attending a few days before can also be effective.
