Suspended Judge Pleads “Not Guilty” To Hindering Charge

SOMERVILLE – A suspended Superior Court judge pleaded not guilty to a charge of hindering apprehension on Wednesday, according to a MyCentralJersey.com report.

Judge Carlia Brady is accused of harboring a suspect in an armed robbery at her Woodbridge home for about an hour without making any attempt to contact police. She was suspended from her judicial position without pay following her arrest, pending the outcome of the case.

The case is being heard in Somerset County.

The charge against Brady is merely an accusation and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
