Volunteers Needed To Support JFVS Elderday and Cameo Programs

MILLTOWN — Jewish Family and Vocational Service (JFVS) of Middlesex County has an immediate need for volunteer Program Aids and Activity Specialists for its CAMEO and Elderday programs in Highland Park on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays.

The CAMEO and Elderday programs are designed to maintain independence and foster self-sufficiency of physically and cognitively impaired senior adults. Activities include themed discussions, arts & crafts projects, and games. Both programs operate from the Highland Park Conservative Temple and run from 9 am to 2 pm.

Volunteers are needed to assist with room and meal set up, to partake in group discussions, and to help participants with ambulating. Volunteers with special skills sets such as a background in music or the arts are especially sought.

For additional information and to apply please contact JFVS Coordinator of Volunteers, Joanne Bartosik at 732-777-1940 or email JoanneB@jfvs.org.
