FORDS — The students of Our Lady of Peace School in Fords recently teamed up with “Operation Jersey Cares”, to collect toiletries and goods for soldiers and send them overseas. Our Lady of Peace called their drive “Operation Love from Home,” and it collected enough items to fill 100 bags for U.S. soldiers. “Operation Jersey Cares” Commander Tom Cunningham and Inventory Control Specialist Russ Balliet picked up the donations and presented a certificate of appreciation to Lori Clark, the school’s religion coordinator.
