FORDS — Our Lady of Peace School in Fords has an annual science project where students build  a device or small vehicle to protect a uncooked egg from breaking during a fall from the height of 33 feet. The goal was to be as creative as possible. Betsey Piesen’s student,
Dominic’s Lansang’s idea came from a ceiling fan. The spinning slows the speed of the falling egg, allowing it to reach the ground without cracking. (Photo courtesy of Our Lady of Peace School)
