FORDS — Our Lady of Peace School in Fords held a graduation Mass on Friday, June 7, in the church followed by a reception
in the school cafeteria sponsored by the seventh grade parents. Despite the heavy rain and gloomy weather, the spirits of the graduates could not be dampened as they reached a milestone in their lives.
Eighth grade teacher Elaine Mc Andrew, the 8th grade teacher and her team worked tirelessly on the graduation week events, which was highlighted by a Broadway play, a brunch, and an awards assembly for the school’s graduates and their families. The traditional graduation Mass was the final event for the eighth graders, who will begin their high school careers in the fall.
