EDISON — On Wednesday, July 17 the JCC of Middlesex County is offering a bus trip to New York City that will feature guided tours of both Gracie Mansion and Grand Central Terminal.
The coach bus will leave the JCC on Oak Tree Rd at 9:30 am for Gracie Mansion – the People’s House, where participants will learn about the mansion’s rich history spanning three and a half centuries and view the collection of fine and decorative arts. Following the tour, the group will head over to the fully restored Grand Central Terminal for lunch on your own at any of the 35 dining options and browsing in the 68 shops, Market and specialty food stores. Each participant will receive an audio guide enabling them to tour the terminal at their own pace. The tour focuses, not only on the architectural highlights of the Terminal but provides the real story about the little known secrets, anecdotes, archival material and history of the Terminal.
Cost for this trip is $45 for JCCMC Members; $49 for non-members which includes all transportation and tours.
