[PHOTO] Berkeley Heights Student Receives Saint Peter’s Prep Spirit Award

JERSEY CITY — Ciaran Freeman, son of Lauren and Brian Freeman, recently received a Spirit Award, the highest non-academic honor a student at Saint Peter’s Prep can receive. The awards continue a 30-year Prep tradition of recognizing the unsung heroes of the school community. The first Prep Spirit Awards were presented in November 1981 when the late Fr. John Browning, S.J. ’46, then principal of Saint Peter’s, began this tradition. Ciaran, a graduate of The Academy of Our Lady of Peace, New Providence, was recognized for his commitment to justice, hardworking attitude, and genuine care for others.
