CLARK — Arthur L. Johnson High School alumni Eric Nierstedt recently visited his alma mater to discuss his recently published novel The Lightrider Journals. Media Specialist Kate Ryan organized the visit in the hopes that Nierstedt could speak with current ALJ students with literary aspirations. He met with Mr. Woodworth’s creative writing class and led an informative and lively question and answer session with the students.

“It is incredibly valuable for young readers and writers to see an example of a success story like Mr. Nierstedt. His enthusiasm about literature and writing is truly contagious. I’m grateful that he was able to spend some time with our students and I am proud to carry his book in the school library” said Ryan.Nierstedt is currently working on his second novel.
