CLARK — The Dr. William Robinson Museum, located at 593 Madison Hill Road in Clark, will be hosting a 150th Anniversary Civil War re-enactment on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday June 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Also on Saturday night, the museum will re-open at 8 p.m. for candlelight tours of the encampment and the museum itself. The 2nd Rhode Island, Company D, and the 7th Virginia Cavalry will be in attendance, along with the Sons of Liberty and other special guests,
Visitors will get a glimpse of a real Civil war camp, and be able to see a weapons display, weapon drills, a camp surgeon, period dancing, and other activities during the day. The museum will be open for tours during both days and on Saturday night.
