LINDEN – Fifth grade students at School 6 in Linden constructed graphs in Mrs. Huff’s math class after they obtained and analyzed data observed in their own underwater artwork scenes that they created in Ms. Drake’s art class. This activity created an opportunity for the students to discuss and solve real world mathematical problems in an exciting way. “I was impressed by the students’ eager enjoyment to collect and display data that was generated from their very own beautiful artwork,” said Mrs. Huff.
