CLARK — Brownie Troop 407, led by Lori Menzo and Christa Kukan, recently invited Daisy Troop 425 to help them with a special planting project at Valley Road School. The girls added new dirt, mulch and planted flowers in the Valley Road School’s “VRS” sign.

The special planting area was updated lasted year by the Brownie troop, which continues to oversee the property as part of their community service project. Daisy Troop 425 was excited to lend a helping hand. They brought their shovels, pails, and watering cans.

Valley Road School Principal Joseph Beltramba came out to support the girls and praised them for their hard work and determination.  The troop extended special thanks to all the parents and families that came out to help and to Schieferstein Farm who discounted the planting supplies.
