RAHWAY — Rahway’s 6th grade gifted and talented students in Mrs. Rubino’s class, Mrs. Cilia’s class, Mrs. Geis’s class and Ms. Haywood’s class gathered at the Grover Cleveland School Library on Wednesday, May 22, to investigate “The Case of the Blazing Books.” After a unit on forensic science, it was time for the students to crack the case. The students examined evidence left at the scene, interviewed suspects (staff members), and used critical thinking to connect all of the clues and eliminate suspects. Students felt like real investigators with a true-to-life simulation of a crime. Pictured are students studying evidence at the crime scene. (Photo courtesy of Rahway Public Schools)
