NEW BRUNSWICK —Country Music Hall of Famer and Grammy® Award-winning artist Kris Kristofferson will perform at the State Theatre on Friday, June 14, at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $35-85.
Kristofferson’s hits include “Me And Bobby McGee,” “For The Good Times,” “Sunday Mornin’ Coming Down,” and “Help Me Make It Through the Night.” At age 76, he just released his 28th album, Feeling Mortal.
As an actor, Kristofferson has starred in many feature films including A Star is Born, for which he received a Golden Globe Award. His other popular movies include Lone Star, the Blade trilogy, Payback, The Jacket, and He’s Just Not That Into You, among others.
He is also well known as a founding member of the country music supergroup, The Highwaymen, alongside legends like Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. In 2007, Kristofferson was honored with the CMT’s Johnny Cash Visionary Award.
