CLARK — Kindergarten students at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark participated in the annual “Mexican Market Day”. The students learn about the Mexican culture and how they trade and sell things. They design their own serape at home to wear on Market Day and bring in themed items to trade during the day. The students are stationed around the room and are visited by parents and teachers who browse the goods the students had to offer. The students either trade or sell their items for pesos.
