NEW BRUNSWICK — This column is dedicated to the many volunteer and career Emergency Medical Service (EMS) personnel in the area. EMS Week is May 19-25.

New Brunswick-New Brunswick City Hospital later became Middlesex General Hospital and is now Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The hospital was founded in 1884.

I’m always looking for readers with memories, past material or old photos to share in my column!

If you have your own memories or past material for any town in Middlesex or Union counties, email me at dianenorekharrison@verizon.net or send copies of your material to me c/o CMD Media, 1139 East Jersey St., Suite 503, Elizabeth NJ 07201
