Public Workshop On The Future Of New Jersey Planned For May 18

NEW BRUNSWICK — Middlesex County, on behalf of the Together New Jersey Consortium, will host a workshop to gather input for plans that will help shape the future of the entire North Jersey region.

The public workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at New Brunswick Middle School, 1125 Livingston Avenue.

All Middlesex County residents are invited to attend and share their ideas about planning for the future to build stronger communities and local and regional economies with better access to transportation, housing, jobs, and educational, cultural and recreational opportunities.

The workshop will include presentations and small group discussions. A light meal and special activities for children also will be available.

“Everyone’s voice is vital in determining the course of our county, and the entire region,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “This workshop is an ambitious effort to improve opportunities throughout northern New Jersey and every individual that chooses to participate will make a critical difference.”
