CRANFORD—The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are currently seeking donations of books, DVDs, CDs, and recorded books for their upcoming sale, which will take place in the Friendly Book Cellar of the Cranford Public Library, on Wednesday, June 5, from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday, June 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The library is located at 224 Walnut Avenue. Donated items must be clean and in good condition. Donations can be brought to the main desk of the library any time the library is open. The library is open Monday to Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Friends do not accept magazines, multi-volume book sets, text books, manuals, or Readers’ Digest abridged books. Because the Friends stage several sales each year, donations are welcome at any time. For more information about the upcoming sale or about donating, call the library at 908-709-7272
