ELIZABETH — The weather cleared on Saturday, May 11 just in time for runners and walkers to join in the first annual Benedictine Academy “Fun Run/Walk.” About 50 students, parents, alumnae, faculty, administrators and friends of the Academy appeared at 9 a.m., ready and eager to get some exercise for a good cause. Most walked and some ran the two-mile route from the Academy on North Broad Street through the Westminster section of Elizabeth…and all enjoyed a good time. Funds went to support the school’s athletic program.
