METUCHEN — On April 11, the Metuchen High School Culture Club hosted a Quinceañera for the freshmen class. To celebrate their 15 years of life, the students participated in a festive event, following common Hispanic traditions. The Culture Club students designed and made a cake and decorations. To maintain the authenticity of the occasion, several freshmen students represented “the court” and participated in a choreographed waltz. Those in attendance participated in authentic salsa dancing lessons with a professional instructor.
