[PHOTO] Research Scientist Talks To Hehnly “Breakfast Bunch”

CLARK — On Wednesday, May 8, the third and fourth grade students who enrolled in Cindy Tarello’s Breakfast Bunch Club at Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark attended a PowerPoint presentation from Dr. Ni, a research scientist at Merck and former medical doctor in Japan and Harvard Medical School. The students met before school in the library for the presentation. Dr. Ni, originally from China, explained the amount of dedication and attention to detail required to enter the medical field. He also shared his appreciation for both the international nature of medical research and the importance of language study. Dr. Ni gave each student a small gift from Japan as a token of appreciation for attending the presentation. (Photo courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
