UNION – On Sunday, April 28, approximately 35 alumni of Kean University who played for its baseball team came together for the annual “Diamonds Are Forever” reunion. As part of the event, the former players got to watch the current Kean Cougars in action as they split their doubleheader with Rowan University and clinched the top seed in the NJAC Tournament for the third straight season. The alumni were also treated to a buffet luncheon in the university’s Harwood Arena, where they enjoyed swapping stories about their playing days and picking themselves out from a slide show featuring more than 50 years of baseball at Kean.
