Middle School Students Perform Plays At School’s Shakespeare Festival

EDISON — Seventh and eighth grade students at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison provided a morning of entertainment with two of William Shakespeare’s most famous plays on May 1 in the Upper Snowdon library. Parents, teachers, students and friends enjoyed the performances.

The eighth graders staged the comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the seventh graders followed with a production of the tragedy Macbeth. Students from all three divisions stopped in to watch the actors portray some of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters.
