Former Gov Joins State Lawmakers At Affordable Care Act Conference This Week

HAMILTON – Former Gov. James Florio will join state Sen. Joseph Vitale (D-Middlesex) and Assemblyman Herb Conaway (D-Burlington) and hospital executives, physicians, and public policy experts on Wednesday, May 8 to discuss the coming changes in healthcare from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

This New Jersey health care event will bring legislators, hospital executives, physicians, and public policy experts together to explain and discuss these issues:

  • NJ’s Health Insurance Exchange:  Ready to Launch?
  • Medicaid Expansion:  Eligibility, Implementation, and Impact
  • Physicians and Hospitals: New Collaborations to Combat Chronic Disease

Organizers say the event will be of interest to C-suite HR and Benefit Managers; Nonprofit Executive Directors and Board Members; Physicians and Practice Managers; Health Care policymakers (government affairs, academics); Health Care payors and Behavioral health providers

The event will be held at RWJ Hamilton Center for Health & Wellness, 3100 Quakerbridge Road, Hamilton, NJ  08619. Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited.  Previous New Jersey:  State of Health conferences have sold out, so registration is recommended.  No credit card payments can be accepted at the event — walk-ins must pay by check or cash only. Registration Fee (which includes continental breakfast and mid-morning break) is $95 ($75 for government, non-profit and educational).
