Clark Police, FBI Investigating May 3 Bank Robbery

CLARK — The Clark Police Department, along with the FBI, are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, May 3, at 3:01 p.m. at the Investor’s Savings Bank on Westfield Avenue in Clark.

The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, placed a handgun on the counter and demanded that the teller turn over all the cash that was in the drawers.  The suspect then left the bank on foot.  There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 180 to 200 lbs. wearing a dark blue v-neck sweater/shirt with fitted blue jeans and a dark blue/black baseball cap with no emblem.

Authorities are asking anyone with information  to contact the Clark Police Department Detective Bureau at 732-388-3439.
