PERTH AMBOY – A Kentucky man recently unearthed a World War I-era medal when cleaning up storm debris on his farm, according to a WKYT report.

James Dodson of Somerset, Ky., found the medal, which says, “presented by the city of Perth Amboy to the boys who answered the call of 1917 USA.”

He is now trying to determine who originally owned the medal and how it ended up on his farm, more than 700 miles away from Perth Amboy.
