EDISON — The Heartland Institute of Financial Education (HIFE) will host an information session about its college planning program at the Edison Public Library’s North Edison branch, 777 Grove Avenue, on Monday, May 13, at 7 p.m.
HIFE offers detailed analysis and strategies to help “mitigate” the high cost of college education. Based on a family’s specific financial situation, a “coach” helps determine strategies to reduce the Expected Family Contribution to qualify the student for need-based monies from federal and state resources, as well as the college’s own resources.
To register to attend the information session, visit www.lmxac.org/edisonlib. For additional information, call 1-732-548-3045 x1.
