Clark Police Blotter: Suspects Arrested For Credit Card Theft, Shoplifting

April 17 at 1:49 p.m. – In the vicinity of Central Avenue, Det. George Marmarou arrested Newark resident Quintin Matthews, 26, and charged him with credit card theft, theft by deception and fraudulent use of a credit card.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

April 18 at 11:01 a.m. – At the 7-Eleven Market on Westfield Avenue, Officer Keith Meehan arrested Clark resident Janice Beuntelschiess, 54, and charged her with shoplifting. She was also detained on two outstanding warrants from Clark totaling $1,714.  She posted bail on the warrants and she was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

April 18 at 4:35 p.m. – At Headquarters, Det. George Marmarou  arrested Cranford resident Steven Camejo, 23, and charged him with credit card theft, theft by deception and fraudulent use of a credit card.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

April 19 at 5:19 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, Officer Christian Lott arrested Linden resident Darius Jones, 23, and charged him with theft.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

April 20 at 2 p.m. – Officer Joseph Teston took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked in the vicinity of 875 Raritan Road.  The incident is under investigation.

April 21 at 1:16 p.m. – Officer Kenneth Sarnecki took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked in the vicinity of 122 Central Avenue.  The incident is under investigation.
