Metuchen High School Inducts 19 Into Art Honor Society

METUCHEN — Metuchen High School sponsored an Art Honor Society Induction ceremony on Thursday, April 18. Nineteen students from the Innovative and Portfolio 1 & 2 classes were inducted into the national society that supports and celebrates the visual arts. The students inducted will wear rainbow colored tassels at graduation in recognition of their membership in the arts society.

The ceremony was followed by an art show displaying works from all the high school art students. The K-12 Multi-Cultural project featured representations from celebration around the world by students in every grade level in the district. Linda Graf headed the evening assisted by Margo Poandl and Gina Brusca, art instructors at the middle and high school.
