EDISON — On Wednesday, May 22, the Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County is offering a unique trip for individuals who enjoy walking. Starting at the Woolworth building in Lower Manhattan, NYC Tour Guide Marty Schneit will lead the group over the one mile long bridge into Brooklyn Heights where he’ll talk about the history, architecture and famous events in the area.
Then on to the Promenade for outstanding photo opportunities and Montague Avenue with its wide array of restaurants and shops and a 2½ hour break for dinner on your own. This trip is being offered with or without transportation from the JCC on Oak Tree Road and return from Brooklyn. Transportation leaves the JCC at 1 p.m. and returns approximately 8:30 p.m. Cost with round trip transportation is $49 for JCCMC members; $55 for non-members. Don’t need transportation? Meet the group at the Woolworth building and return home on your own and pay $20 for members; $24 for non-members.
