ROSELLE PARK — The Roselle Park First Aid Squad needs new Volunteers, especially adults 18 years and older who live in the borough and the surrounding communities, who can offer their time during days, nights, and weekends.
The squad is also looking for borough residents between the ages of 15½ and 17 who would like to volunteer as members of the Cadet Unit.
Those who join will be taught to save lives in their community. Not only will recruits learn lifesaving CPR, they will also be enrolled into a class to become a New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
New classes are forming in May and June.
Duty Crews are at the building Sunday through Friday between the hours of 7 – 11 p.m. and are available to answer any questions about volunteering.
Anyone interested can call 1-908-245-3470 and leave their name and address to have an application mailed.
Information is also available on the organization’s web site at rpems.org and at the first aid squad building, located at 535 Laurel Avenue. between West Colfax and West Webster, alongside the Roselle Park High School football field.
